This Regulation coordinates in each country whether and where someone working within Europe is socially insured.<\/p>\n<p>There is, however, a transition ruling under which the allocation rules of the old EU Regulation (1408\/71) remain in force, as long as the situation existing on April 30, 2010 continues.<\/p>\n<p>The transition ruling ends on May 1, 2020. This may result in persons covered by the transition ruling becoming socially insured in another country from 1 May 2020.<\/p>\n<p>It is therefore important for everyone who works across Europe to find out in which country there will be a social insurance obligation after 1 May 2020.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On May 1, 2010 EU Regulation 883\/04 entered into force.
