De EU heeft nu beslist om dit te verlengen tot 4 maart 2028.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>De EU wil, met deze beslissing, haar voornemen om Oekra\u00efne en haar bevolking te steunen bevestigen. Bovendien zorgt het verlengen van de tijdelijke bescherming voor duidelijkheid en voorspelbaarheid voor alle mensen die de oorlog ontvluchten.<\/p>\n<p>Een nieuwe nuance is dat de EU nu ook rekening houdt met Oekra\u00efnes veranderende defensiebehoeften. Daarom zal voor alle nieuwe aanvragers, de tijdelijke bescherming enkel worden toegekend wanneer is voldaan aan hun militaire verplichtingen in Oekra\u00efne.
